A totally wonderful experience, with attentive service in a glorious location on the restaurant terrace. There were 5 of us, and we ranged across a host of starters and mains. All were absolutely first class – definitely Bib Gourmand standard. There was a tie for starter of the day between a deconstructed prawn cocktail with crispy prawns, and the baked baby camembert. The portions are generous so we were all able to sample them, as we were the mains of an amazing pork dish, a sumptuous chowder and lovely duck. This is really fine dining, at modest prices, in a lovely setting with great service. We caught sight of the afternoon tea service on the way out: definitely coming back for that!

Visited for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago with family and had a wonderful meal. A great buzz in the Glass House restaurant and a stunning afternoon as their doors were open onto their green lawns. A sophisticated setting. Highly recommended.
