Brighton Restaurant Award Winners 2017: Best Coffee

The public voted in their thousands to decide who makes the best coffee in Brighton, and we’re pleased to announce the official 2017 top 10 best coffee venues. Good news is, you can also check who made the list in 2018.

1. Small Batch – Winners of best coffee in Brighton

What can we say except bloomin’ well done to the masters of Brighton coffee! From serving commuters a tasty brew outside Hove and Brighton train station to being on the corner of seemingly every hip corner of the city, there’s a reason why Small Batch has such a loyal following and we’re thrilled to announce them as the public’s favourite!

2. The Flour Pot Bakery

The Flour Pot have broken onto the scene with a bang and 2017 seems to be their year, with a new location popping up in Seven Dials and of course, coming second as Brighton’s favourite coffee stop! Could it be the lure of their freshly roasted beans alongside a fresh pastry? Or the fact that their venues are so darn stylish… either way you seem to be digging it all!

3. Marwood

Winners of the ‘Most Brighton’ category, Marwood are storming the public vote, coming third for best coffee in town and well deserved too. This venue is miles away from your average ‘trendy’ Brighton coffee house, don’t expect edison bulbs and funky tiling but what they do promise is a super-friendly welcome, exceptional coffee and interesting chats with whoever happens to be on the next table!
