This very popular Brighton cafe provides ethically sourced, hand-roasted coffee, and serves a brunch and lunch every day of the year. By day this sleek venue is the famous Redroaster and by night is becomes Lucky Khao. Filled with design-led furnishings such as marble surfaces, gold features and geometrics serving an exciting menu and roasting their own coffee beans, we can see why The New York Times said it\u2019s a \u2018go-to destination\u2019!<\/p>

Lucky Khao Brighton replaced Pike and Pine as the dining aspect of Kemptown Project in January 2019. Sharing its roof with one of Brighton\u2019s most popular cafes, Redroaster<\/a>, Lucky Khao Brighton (Khao meaning rice in Thai<\/em>) serves Northern Thai charcoal barbeque, curries and sharing plates.<\/p>

The inspiration for Lucky Khao came from a trip to Miami where owner and chef, Mike Palmer, was introduced to Northern Thai cuisine and the love affair blossomed. The team at Lucky Khao Brighton have trained in top Bangkok restaurants including 100 Mahaseth<\/a>\u00a0under chef Chalee Kader who is renowned for sustainable, nose to tail Northern Thai barbeque cooking.<\/p>

Lucky Beach Brighton is one of those cafes that locals want to keep a secret\u2026 with it\u2019s beachfront location and fresh n funky menu you\u2019ll have to get in early to nab a seat. In 2017 + 2018 the cafe was voted the UKs top sustainable restaurant and it\u2019s definitely worth a short wait in order to fill your boots with delicious brunch offerings and top notch burgers.<\/p>
