For businesses, alfresco dining can also increase seating capacity, improve visibility, and enhance the customer experience, making venues feel more vibrant and appealing. Throughout the South East it has grown in popularity due to changing consumer preferences for more informal, experience-led dining and the influence of European caf\u00e9 culture, where outdoor eating is associated with leisure and sociability.<\/p>\n

How Should an Establishment Integrate Alfresco Dining?<\/h3>\n

An establishment should integrate alfresco dining by treating it as a planned extension of its hospitality operation rather than simply placing tables outside. This involves designing an outdoor space that is comfortable, attractive, and consistent with the brand image of the venue, while ensuring it supports efficient service and a positive customer experience. One requirement for alfresco dining that we would suggest before getting started is remembering to consider the weather. Simply having alfresco seating won’t prevent rain from dampening the experience.
