Overview
We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our friendly team at Village Pizza Kitchen in Hurstpierpoint. We are an award-winning pizza business, with a great reputation!
This Role Includes
In addition to our busy restaurant / takeaway operation, we do lots of event catering with our two converted horse boxes in the summer months, have our own dedicated kiosk at the Amex Stadium and are the official pizza partner for the corporate hospitality lounges at the Amex, where our wholesale stone baked pizzas are served.
As well as our exceptional pizza, we offer a range of excellent pasta dishes, starters, sides and desserts – along with a fantastic wine list. We make virtually everything from scratch, using lots of lovely British ingredients – many of which are locally sourced from Sussex.
You would be working under our Head Chef, helping to manage the day to day kitchen operation and wider kitchen team.
As we continue to grow, we can offer the potential to fast track to a Head Chef role, so we are looking for someone with flare and creativity, solid experience, great leadership qualities and strong organisational skills. A background in Italian food is preferred but not essential. Must drive and have own vehicle.
