About Woodfire Camping

Woodfire is not a conventional campsite.
We host people at long tables in the South Downs – cooking over fire, sharing meals outdoors, and creating a sense of occasion around simple things done well.
At Woodfire there is no ‘us’ and ‘them’. Roles are defined and assigned but we work closely as a team to make sure that the site runs beautifully – tents spotless, spaces well-cared for, and guests looked after and made to feel welcome from the moment they arrive.

We are looking for thoughtful, capable people to join us. These roles will suit people who enjoy being part of something special, where the focus is on a great outcome and atmosphere rather than simply a list of jobs ticked off.

Within this year’s team we’re recruiting for several roles depending on skills and experience – roles can be made hybrid for the right candidates and tented accommodation can also be considered,  All the roles involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions; collaboration within a small team; pysical activity including lifting, cleaning and site preparation and creating a welcoming environment for guests. We also require availability and commitment between our peak season April – October.
