We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cooking fresh food from scratch to a high standard , with a minimum of 3 years experience working in similar level restaurant environments and a proven track record. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a professional setting, contributing to delivering a high-quality service to our valued customers. It is suited to individuals who want to progress & learn how kitchens are run and have a one to one mentorship in management of people and systems.

A candidate who is successful at the interview stage will be expected to conduct a mystery box cook off at the restaurant for the senior team. References will be required.

This Role Includes

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in the organisation and mise en place of ingredients for service
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts
Monitor food quality during preparation and service
Collaborate with all team members (foh & boh ) to ensure timely service during busy periods
Follow all food safety procedures, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
Support the head chef in the smooth running of the kitchen

Skills Required

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation within a restaurant of a similar standard (michelin, AA & Bib gourmand.)
Thorough Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations is essential
Experience with Italian & modern European cooking environments
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in professional kitchens
Excellent organisational skills & time keeping with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Pay: £14.50-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
