At Kemptown Project, we run some of Brighton’s favourite independent restaurants, and one of the UK’s only certified organic coffee roastery’s. Our goal is not only to create and sustain a group of restaurants that Brightonian’s are proud of but to continue sharing our profits with social projects in Rwanda and the UK.

Lucky Beach, located on the beach between the piers, and Redroaster//Lucky Khao, St James Street, are award winning, sustainably focused casual dining environments, regularly recommended in the media. Since reopening we’ve had a couple of record breaking months and are set for a busy, busy summer, so we’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic assistant manager to take hold of the reins alongside our current management team.

As an Assistant Manager:

You will already have been involved in the running of a busy restaurant or cafe and can give energy out to your team and insist on high standards.
You enjoy working with, and meeting new people, are naturally service focused and don’t enjoy working with other managers who would rather be in the office.
Enjoy having a say on new drink and food menus, like to try different ways of working and have had success growing sales previously.
In return, we provide training, company discounts, contributory pension scheme along with a bonus scheme, tips, and the odd trip abroad!

If you’re passionate about working with great produce and great people then send over a short introduction and CV to Flora at jobs@kemptownproject.com

About Kemptown Project

Kemptown Project is an environmentally-responsible hospitality group which brings together the best of eco-conscious design and sustainable architecture, together with extraordinary comfort and delicious sustainable food. Our theory is that a new luxury is emerging based on what is now missing in everyday life: nature, sustainability and good health.

We operate some of Brighton's most popular restaurants, we share our profits with social projects in Rwanda and the UK and our goal is to grow our portfolio and help the communities reach self-sufficiency and to become Brightons leading hospitality employer.
