We are recruiting a Food Hub Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for someone to start immediately, working part time (90 hours per month) up to the end of March 2022.

Are you a good organiser with experience of premises management and/or ordering systems and stock control? Are you good at communicating with different groups of people?

This is an opportunity to play a central role in the city’s Emergency Food Network – a collaboration of food banks and other organisations providing food to those in need because of food poverty. The central food hub will be used as a facility to store surplus and wholesale purchased food for distribution to Emergency Food Projects around the city.

The post holder will also lead on our ‘In The Bag’ initiative. Families receive a bag containing recipes and ready-weighed out ingredients. The recipes are chosen to be healthy, easy to cook and provide options for children’s involvement. The meal kits also include useful information for families and fun activities for children.
