Overview
The White Horse in Ditchling is seeking a Sussex apprentice chef to work alongside their head chef. You will learn all aspects of kitchen work and will be required to be involved on all levels from assisting in the washing of dishes to final plating of meals. This is a great opportunity to start a career in hospitality and gain valuable skills and experience with the support of an experienced team.

This role includes a Level 2 or Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification delivered by the Greater Brighton Metropolitan College and may require 1 day per week at College on day release.

The White Horse in Ditchling is looking to grow the team and bring in another Sussex apprentice chef to work in a very busy environment alongside the head chef.
You will gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of a busy pub including:
- Time management skills
- Food quality
- Food preparation, cooking and serving
- Customer service skills
- Working within a team environment
- Health and safety within a kitchen and restaurant
