Overview
We have a vacancy for an Assistant Restaurant Manager or a Deputy Restaurant Manager, depending on experience. The role is full time, 35 hours per week, working over 5 days per week, including regular weekends.
This role will be varied and demanding. You will work as part of the team, serving customers and working in all our stations from coffee to running the floor. You will ensure that the shift is run smoothly according to procedures, take responsibility for opening, setting up and closing the building securely, ensuring staff receive the guidance they need and handle any customer queries or complaints. You will also take ownership over a number of managerial tasks and manage new hire inductions and coaching staff together with the Restaurant Manager. You’ll support our shift Supervisors and deputise for our Restaurant Manager when needed.
The right candidate will need to be highly organised, confident, professional and reliable. Most importantly they must have endless energy for delivering outstanding customer service, act as a role model and have the ability to build positive working relationships with all of the team. Flexibility is also key, regular evening and weekend working is required. Having a minimum of 2 years leadership experience in a Restaurant setting is a must.
