This spring, Ebb will open inside Worthing’s iconic Art Deco Pavilion, positioned at the very end of the pier with stunning sea views, bird murmurations, and unforgettable sunsets. We are looking for a strong sous chef to be part of the opening team — helping to shape not just the food, but the culture of the kitchen
This Role Includes
Sous Chef — £37,000 plus Tronc and Bonus
With just 38 covers, the restaurant will feel intimate and personal but the ambition is big: exceptional food and drinks delivered with warmth, precision, and style.
Our open kitchen will champion seasonal produce, transformed into bold, modern dishes — creative, vibrant, and full of flavour. Expect a cocktail-led bar, carefully considered wines, great music, and low lighting — all wrapped in a hospitality style that’s refined, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming..
Skills Required
You’re a confident, hands-on chef with strong experience in high end kitchens. You thrive in a fast-paced service, care deeply about presentation and flavour, and take pride in running a smooth, organised section whilst supporting the rest of the brigade and working with a positive attitude.
You’re ambitious, reliable, and excited by the opportunity to be part of an opening team
