We are looking for two experienced CDPs to join our team seven shifts a week at our site at 69 East street in Brighton. We want people who share a passion for great hospitality, sustainability and sourcing locally! We are serious about seasonality and working with local suppliers and would love to find someone who is as excited about good food as we are.

This Role Includes

We are looking for an enthusiastic and competent chef de partie. The right candidate will:

  • Be able to run their section effectively, ensuring appropriate levels of mise en place, timely service and accurate ordering.
  • Contribute to menu develop and dish design in collaboration with the senior chef team.
  • Take responsibility for accurately documenting HACCP procedures on a day-to-day basis, including fridge temperatures and service records.

Skills Required

Ideally, you are:

  • Brighton based, with 2 years or more kitchen experience.
  • Reliable, punctual, and available for weekends.
  • Have a specific interest in seasonal British food, fermentation, butchery and foraging.
  • Be looking to join our team long term and are happy to commit to a project rather than just a job.

Additional Information

In return, we offer:

  • A salary of £20,000 for seven shifts a week, with cash tips on top!
  • Staff meals each shift, so twice a day for those on doubles.
  • 50% discount for when you dine with us Monday to Thursday.
  • An opportunity to work in one of the up and coming restaurants of Brighton
