We are looking for an experienced & professional chef to join our team at Wild Flor.
You would work a maximum of seven shifts / 45 hours per week.

This Role Includes

You should be comfortable & skilled in each section of the kitchen, with ambition, willingness to learn & enthusiasm for teaching junior members of the kitchen team.
You’ll be handling fine, seasonal & sustainable produce & applying classic cookery techniques.
We serve a set menu at lunch and dinner, you’ll be preparing short and precise, regularly-changing menus for our guests.

We are offering an annual salary of £23,000-£27,000 plus service charge.

About Wild Flor

A neighbourhood restaurant in Hove warmly offering classic cookery alongside well-cellared wines.

We have two dining rooms at Wild Flor; the larger 30 seat ground floor & a cosier 22 seat first floor. Both are consciously spaced & comfortable with high ceilings, classical decor, exposed brick & a nostalgic soundtrack.

Bookings will be allocated to either room during peak services based on time of booking & availability, with tables of 4-6 mainly being seated on the first floor. Tables booked before 7 pm will be seated on the ground floor & allocated 2 and a half hours before the next booking. Bookings at 7.30 pm or later will have their table for the duration. If you wish to request a particular table or dining room, please make a note of this when booking & we will do all we can to accommodate.
