Restaurants Brighton Supports Citywide Campaign Fighting Food Insecurity
At Restaurants Brighton, we’re proud to back initiatives that not only celebrate our thriving hospitality scene, but also make a real difference in the wider community. That’s why we’re supporting the Love Food Share Food Summer Campaign 2025 — a Brighton & Hove-wide fundraising initiative that invites local restaurants to help tackle food insecurity through a simple, no-cost action.
A Campaign Rooted in Community
Love Food Share Food is a grassroots campaign led by a Brighton-based team with one mission:
to ensure families across the city have dignified access to food. Running from 1st May to the end of July, the campaign is open to restaurants across the city, and participation is completely free.
Each venue adds a voluntary £1 donation to customer bills. Diners are always free to opt out, and 100% of the funds raised support the Love Food Share Food Campaign alongside Brighton Food Bank, CHOMP Brighton, who provide meals and essential support to people facing hardship.
A No-Cost, High-Impact Way to Get Involved
Restaurants taking part are fully supported with everything they need to join in — from table cards and donation guides to staff resources and setup instructions. There’s zero cost, zero admin, and maximum impact.
And it’s not just a charitable gesture — it’s great for your venue too. Here are just a few venues in Brighton and Hove who are already backing Love Food Share Food.
Participating restaurants receive:
- A spotlight feature about their venue
- Weekly social media promotion throughout the summer
- Exposure in partnership with Restaurants Brighton
- Recognition as a community-minded business
- Visibility to an audience of thousands of local residents
Let’s Champion the Brighton Food Scene – Together
As a supporter of the campaign, we’re encouraging venues to get involved now while spaces are still available. The campaign goes live on 1st May 2025, and onboarding is happening throughout April.
