What a night. The BRAVO Party was more than just an event; it was a celebration of the people who make this city taste, look, and feel so good. One of the highlights for us is always the mix of people – we loved meeting the new faces entering the scene and catching up with old friends who have been part of the BRAVO journey since the beginning.
The Perfect Start
The night kicked off with a stellar lineup of welcome drinks curated by Tom Surgey’s The List. Guests enjoyed refreshing serves from In the Loop, Sipello, and Goldstone Rum – the perfect fuel for a night of celebration.

A Huge Thank You to Our Headline Sponsor
We want to give a special shout-out to our headline sponsor, Recorra. Their commitment to our community is what allows us to bring everyone together for nights like this.

A Taste of the Evening
Thanks to food from Bartley Kitchens and Julien Plumart, guests enjoyed a curated selection of small plates and sweets.

We were particularly lucky to have Julien Plumart share a legendary French secret: his recreation of La Tarte Tropezienne. This cloudlike, orange blossom cream-filled brioche was originally created in 1955 for Brigitte Bardot’s birthday, and the recipe has remained a mystery for 70 years. After years of research, Julien has finally perfected this scrumptious delicacy for us to enjoy in Brighton.

Alongside the tart, guests sampled Julien’s award-winning macarons and chocolate brownies, perfectly complemented by a savoury menu from Bartley Kitchens featuring highlights like Trenchmore beef Yorkshire puddings and lobster rolls.

Entertainment & Creativity
The energy stayed high thanks to the iconic Peanut the Drag Queen and the brilliant comedians from Funny That Comedy. We loved seeing everyone strike a pose for Get The Picture, and it was great to see Kirsti Davidson, whose illustrations help us keep the BRAVOs beautiful.

Community in Action
A massive thank you to our hosts at Laine Pubs and the students from Brighton MET College. Your professionalism in service helped make the night seamless.
There are lots more photos here which you are welcome to use just remember to credit the wonderful Emma Harrel and tag @restaurantsbrighton and @brightonrestaurantawards.
