It’s a privilege to talk with several BRAVO-winning businesses from last year’s awards, gaining insights into their experiences and discovering what it’s like to achieve such a prestigious accolade.

Crabshack in Worthing – Winner of Sussex Finest
We are all overjoyed to have received the Sussex Finest award. It’s great for us eight years in, to be recognised in this way by our customers – especially at the start of what will hopefully be a busy summer season for all of us. Worthing has been getting more and more press recently as a great place to move to on the south coast and all the independent restaurants, bars and other businesses have been instrumental in that happening. Oeuf Cafe – Winner of Best Cafe
It was a huge accolade to have won this award after being open for such a short period of time, especially opening mid pandemic, being recognised for all of the hard work that the team has put in since opening, made us feel like the hard work was really worthwhile! Nostos – Winner of Most Family Friendly Restaurant
Winning the BRAVO Best For The Family category in 2023 was a proud moment for us at Nostos, affirming our commitment to a family-friendly dining experience. This accolade has significantly expanded our reach and reputation, not only as a family hub but also as a prime location for business meetings and events. Building on this success, we’re now aiming for the Best International category in the next year, showcasing our authentic Greek cuisine and international appeal. – Kyriakos

Bonsai Plant Kitchen – Winner of Plant Champions Category
The BRAVO awards has massively helped put Bonsai Plant Kitchen on the map, and without these independent awards it is very hard for small businesses to stand out in such a competitive market. It’s also great that the BRAVOs are voted for by the people, meaning it is a very true representation of how the public feel. The Salt Room – Winner of Best Team
It was a great feeling and reward to receive the BRAVO Best Team award. We had a busy year and it means a lot to be given an award that really makes all of us at The Salt Room feel appreciated.
