Best International Cuisine Brighton
Visit Brighton sponsored the BRAVO 2020 award for Best International Cuisine Brighton and we’re following you’re culinary worldly wisdom.
The tea leaves could have told us but we asked you and in at number one position is Bincho Yakitori. This low key Japanese restaurant is royalty when it comes to authentic international dining. Their menu showcases some of the finest Japanese small plates, Asian beers and of course it wouldn’t be Japan without Sake!
In at second is Kujira. Their robatayaki grill was introduced to Brighton in late 2018, and you were eager to get your teeth into their marinated meats and vegetables cooked over a flameless coal grill and served small plate style. Two floors of stylish design and manga loos all helped seal the fantasy in transporting you to a sleek Tokyo izakaya bar but without the lousy 15-hour flight or jet-lag.
A taste of France has been high on your bucket list and now it’s in the top 3 of ours. The sophisticated French Bistro, Petit Pois stands out from the rest. The husband and wife team that is David and Ivana have set soaring standards with this French beauty. Expertly cooked classics and al la cart dishes match with the exclusively French wine have made them a firm favourite with our BRAVO voters.
