This category celebrates cultural diversity through the unifying power of food. We’ve asked you to find the venue that transports you to foreign shores, evokes memories of that perfect holiday restaurant, or is a little taste of home? And you’ve come back with the elated reveal.
Visit Brighton sponsors the BRAVO 2022 award for Best International Cuisine Brighton and we’re following you’re culinary worldly wisdom.
Retaining their position as best international restaurant for a second year, it’s Bincho Yakitori. This low key Japanese restaurant is royalty when it comes to authentic international dining. Their menu showcases some of the finest Japanese small plates, Asian beers and of course, it wouldn’t be Japan without Sake!
For authentic flavours of the Aegean and genuine Greek hospitality, you’ve declared Nostos in Hove to be one of your top three international restaurants. Their loyal fanbase flock from all over Brighton and Sussex to give their tastebuds a trip to the Mediterranean.
Making top three in best international is Adelfia (and if anyone’s keeping score that’s two best international winners on Preston Street and two that are Greek). The Afentakis brothers were serving food since teenagers working in their father’s restaurant and it’s safe to say that they’ve lost none of that authenticity since opening their restaurant six years ago.
