Hand pulled noodles like no other

The Biang Biang noodles at Shaanxi are hand pulled fresh to order, offering a unique texture that’s impossible to replicate. Watch their skilled chefs at work preparing the Shaanxi noodles. Thick, wide, and slightly chewy, they absorb every drop of the rich, fragrant sauces they are served with. Whether you prefer your noodles served with slow cooked beef, succulent lamb, or a vegetarian friendly mix of fresh vegetables, you’re in for a treat. The open kitchen means diners can watch the chefs expertly stretch, twist, and pull the dough before it lands in their bowl, making for a truly immersive dining experience.

More than just noodles

Shaanxi Brighton doesn’t stop at noodles.

RB loves the Shaanxi handmade dumplings which are a must try, boasting a perfectly soft yet slightly crispy wrapper and juicy, flavourful fillings. Available steamed or pan fried, they’re the ultimate comfort food. The homemade Chinese burgers (Rou Jia Mo) are another highlight, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and filled with tender, slow cooked meat or plant based alternatives.

The scallion pancakes, flaky and golden, make for an addictive side dish that pairs beautifully with a dipping sauce.

We visited Brighton in a week day , was recommended by few friends in London. We are from the same region in China, and the food did not disappint us , they taste very authentic , highly recommend hand pulled biang biang noodles with beef short ribs.

I’m a oversea student from China. During staying in the Brighton, I am always looking for a restaurant that can bring me back to China. However, I have been disappointed many times until I tried the food of Shaanxi. It is the real Chinese food that you can eat in China. I am nearly crying.
