The ground floor at Embers is wheelchair accessible but Embers does not have an accessible toilet. Wheelchair-using guests are welcome to use the ground floor loo at neighbouring venue Bohemia. 

Malmaison on Brighton Marina provides excellent wheelchair access, featuring a lift from street level to their stunning boutique hotel reception. Everything is conveniently on the same level, offering spacious and accessible areas throughout. Situated at the bottom of East Street at the foot of the historic Lanes, you will find this alfresco dining hotspot in between the two iconic Brighton piers and the nearest car parking can be found in the Lanes Car Park on Black Lion Street. OhSo transforms from a cafe and coffee spot by day to a popular evening venue, with many people gathering to watch the sunset behind the sea whilst enjoying a cocktail.

Al Duomo opened as Brighton’s first traditional wood-fired pizzeria 40+ years ago and has been bringing us authentic Italian food ever since. With more than 70 years’ experience between them, the senior chefs share a great love of food and source their ingredients from the finest Italian suppliers. Located next to the historic Pavilion, near to the theatres, this is a great place to enjoy a little Italian hospitality before catching a show.

Twisted Lanes in Brighton’s Lanes offers a delightful culinary experience, featuring a breakfast and brunch menu from 9am to 2pm with options like buttermilk pancakes, Full and Vegan breakfasts, granola bowls, Eggs Florentine, Benedict, and Royale, rostis, avo-toast, and sandwiches. From 2pm to 10pm, the menu transitions to sharing-style small plates, including Twisted Crab Cakes, Slow Cooked Short Ribs, Padron Peppers, and Crispy Squid. A variety of teas, coffees, soft drinks, and cocktails complement the food. The ground floor of Twisted Lanes is accessible to those with mobility issues, with no steps and ample space around the tables and on the outside terrace.

While there are no designated accessible parking spaces, nearby options include NCP or Churchill Square car parks. Situated opposite the picturesque River Adur, River Café & Bistro is a relaxed and welcoming spot in Shoreham. The venue boasts great accessibility, featuring an entry ramp, a level interior, and a spacious layout for easy movement. The recently renovated accessible toilet includes an alarm chord, hand frames, and accessible tap controls. While there is no designated disabled parking, off-road parking is available just 15 metres away. Open daily from 8:30am to 3pm, the café is dog-friendly, offers highchairs, and is fully licensed. Private hire is available at certain times.

Terre à Terre, a renowned vegetarian restaurant in Brighton, offers wheelchair access and facilities for parents with young children. It features a lovely sun terrace at the back, perfect for enjoying sunny days. Tables on the terrace are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Redroaster is a ‘go-to destination’ in Brighton, situated at the bottom of St.James’ Street it’s also a stones throw from the beach. Providing ethically sourced, hand-roasted coffee, serving breakfast and lunch. Serving from 7am-5pm, Redroaster is the place to go if you’re looking for a sophisticated brunch. You’ll find modern takes on classic breakfasts such as their crab and avocado brioche with yozu curd. Redroaster have fantastic South facing, floor to ceiling windows which can be opened out completely to create an indoor/outdoor atmosphere.
