Brunch is served all day, with favourites like The Canopy Hash, available with smoked salmon, spicy ’nduja or a vegetarian option, alongside classics such as avocado toast with sesame crunch, salmon scramble and a full breakfast with homemade beans.

From midday, the menu expands into comforting lunch dishes, including a fried chicken sandwich with firecracker sauce, a rich croque madame with smoked ham hock and chilli crisp, wild mushroom risotto, slow-braised shin of beef with creamy polenta, and roast plaice in curry butter with crushed new potatoes. Sweet finishes like the Canopy Biscoff crêpe and chocolate brownie round things off perfectly. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and allergy-friendly options are well catered for.

With Michael Bremner leading the kitchen, The Canopy brings serious culinary pedigree to Brighton’s Seven Dials. A Great British Menu winner and one of the chefs most closely associated with shaping Brighton’s modern food scene, Michael is best known for his boundary-pushing cooking at 64 Degrees and Murmur, where his focus on flavour, seasonality and creativity earned national recognition.
