Location and Interior

Located off the main high street in a quiet corner of Brighton, the Hove restaurant is a hidden gem that was originally a fish market. The interior is simple and understated, with plain white walls, comfortable seating, and wooden tables, creating an atmosphere that lets the food take centre stage.

With only around 20 covers, diners are guaranteed an intimate experience, keeping their table for the entire evening and receiving impeccable service from the dedicated front-of-house team.

Brighton’s Most Highly Rated

Since its opening in 2013, The Little Fish Market has garnered more awards and praise than any other restaurant in Brighton and Hove. It has been awarded a Good Food Guide score of Five and three AA Rosettes every year since 2016. It has been listed among the Top 100 UK restaurants by the National Restaurant Awards since 2017 and is recommended annually by the Michelin Guide, solidifying its reputation as a must-visit dining destination. Duncan and his team also won the accolade of the best restaurant in Brighton in 2020 and The Little Fish Market consistently feature in the BRAVO or Brighton Restaurant Awards Top 20 every year.

Food is beautifully presented and tastes so fresh. Staff were so attentive and made the evening a joy. It’s a small cosy restaurant hidden away but is packed most nights due it’s popularity.

  2. Tom

Absolute perfection as far as I am concerned. Food is stunning and really elegant in its simplicity. Atmosphere is perfect and service is the best in Brighton. Get in there quick before they get a Michelin Star as you wont be able to get a table. 5*

Incredible food and the only venue in Brighton to have 3 AA Rosettes. Expect nothing but perfection here and arguably the best food you will taste in Brighton. Well done Little Fish Market.
