Patty and Bun | Best Sellers

Among the best-selling burgers at Patty and Bun is the iconic “Ari Gold” cheeseburger. Featuring a perfectly cooked beef patty, topped with gooey cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickled onions, and their signature smokey P&B mayo, all sandwiched between soft brioche buns, this burger is a customer favourite. For something with a bit of a kick, the “Smokey Robinson” burger packs in layers of smoked cheddar, streaky bacon, caramelised onions, and a generous dollop of their tangy BBQ sauce.

Vegetarian or vegan?

No problem. The “Whoopi Goldburger” is a standout, with a plant-based patty, vegan cheese, pickles, and all the trimmings, making it a hit with those after meat-free options.

Complementing these gourmet burgers is a range of homemade sauces like garlic aioli, chipotle mayo, and hot sauce, allowing diners to customise their meal. As for sides, their hand-cut rosemary salt fries are a must-try, alongside their indulgent loaded fries topped with cheese sauce, smoked bacon, and BBQ sauce. If you’re looking to add more crunch, their buffalo chicken wings or tangy slaw are excellent companions to the burger feast.

The kids and I got ourselves down to Patty and Bun on the opening week and took advantage of the £5 offer on any burger on the first week only. After a small wait due to a lot of people taking up the offer, we were seated. The first thing I noticed was the very trendy interior and mellow/old school tunes being played out of the speakers, I would be happy to spend an hour here chilling out with friends. We ordered burgers, chips with rosemary and milkshakes (standard!). The burgers are cooked medium rare so might not be to everyone’s likely but I enjoyed mine, the kids not so. I should have taken the waiter up on his offer to cook the kids burgers a little longer to medium. The chips are great as were the milkshakes. I would happily go back to try the other burgers but choose my times carefully as there are quite limited on tables in peak hours.
You can take advantage of there app and order your burger in advance and pick it up from the pickup point on the side of the restaurant. I can see this being a popular option in the summer when the beaches are busy.
