Brighton Christmas Markets & Local Shopping evenings 2025 

22 – 23 Nov Winter Makers Fair – The British Engineerium, Hove, BN3 7QA, 10:30am – 4:30pm each day – Discover 120 makers, artists and indie businesses including small batch food & drink producers across the weekend. Enjoy street food, a festive bar, wreath making, live performances and guided tours of the Museum in steam. More info:

22–23 Nov –Designer & Maker Fair, Charleston (near Firle) Explore a handpicked group of over 30 local designers and makers offering sustainably made goods, plus festive wreath making workshops.

23 Nov  – Advent Fair, Michael Hall (Forest Row) A magical, festive day featuring live music, candle-dipping, an enchanting gnome home, and beautifully crafted traditional Waldorf decorations.

23–24 – Nov Babylon Eco Christmas Market (Duddleswell) Features arts and crafts by local East Sussex artists, sustainable gifts, wreath making workshops, and a pop-up gin bar.

29 Nov – Lancing Village Fayre and Trail 10-1pm. Santa and his elves will be there with a gift for every child.

29–30 Nov – Christmas Fayre & Trees, Wilderness Wood First weekend of the fayre: Choose pre-cut local Christmas trees, browse gifts by local artists, and enjoy hot chocolate and mince pies.

3 Dec, Flour Pot Bakery, First Avenue, 6pm–10pm, In collaboration with @booknookhove.  Local traders, live music, hot food specials, Christmas cocktails, mulled wine, a Christmas tree sale.

4 Dec – Lewes Christmas Market Over 60 stalls selling lovely Christmas goods, held inside the Lewes Town Hall (Fisher Street entrance).

4 Dec – Portland Road Late Night Christmas shopping 5-8pm the independents along Portland Rd are open late for festive shopping.

4 & 5 Dec – Kemptown Village Collective Xmas Late Nights. A unique two day Christmas experience from festive gift ideas to live music.

6 Dec – Artelium’s Christmas Makers Market 10-4pm. Artelium are bringing together a community makers, producers, and artisans for an unforgettable Christmas Makers Market, a contemporary showcase of local craft and produce – ideal for gifting (or self-gifting). There will be food and drink flowing all day, with wine tastings taking place in the tasting room, keeping you fed, watered (& wined!)

6 Dec – Kemptown Food and Makers Market 10am-3pm Free entry.

6 Dec Brighton Etsy Team Christmas at the Dome – 10th annual Christmas Market with over 90 local designers, artists and makers selling their wares.

6 Dec – Southwick Christmas Market 10-3pm

6 –7 Dec – Christmas Fayre & Trees, Wilderness Wood Second weekend of the Fayre, continue your search for the perfect tree and gifts.

7 Dec – Lewes Late Night Shopping The High Street closes to traffic for an evening of shopping at independent stores, live music, street entertainment, and a chance to meet Santa.

7 Dec –  Christmas Craft Market with a difference at The Fountain Inn/ Boysterous Burgers. See Magic Tattoo Craft Market details. 

8 Dec – Evening Craft Fair at The Gather Inn. Come in from the cold and enjoy a mulled wine while looking around some fabulous crafty stalls. Jewellery, homeware, jam, stained glass and more. From 4pm

11th Dec, Flour Pot Bakery, Fiveways, 6pm–10pm. Expect stalls from local traders, live music, hot food specials, Christmas cocktails, mulled wine, a Christmas tree sale, free kids face painting and plenty more throughout the night.

12 Dec – Light up Shoreham Christmas Market. A magical evening of live entertainment as well as a festive trail, best dressed window competition stalls with gifts, crafts, jewellery, clothes and toys. The town’s independent shops and restaurants will be open for an evening of late night shopping.

Dec (TBC) Mansion Market, Forest Row. Predominantly artisan craft market with handmade and unique presents, tasty food, and the ambience of Kidbrooke Mansion. (Exact date to be announced for December).
