We visited the cafe this afternoon with a wheelchair bound young lady with complex medical needs. She is unable to drink anything but hot water, unfortunately. As carers, we visit a lot of cafes and request a cup or mug of hot water. Whilst we don’t ‘expect’ this to be free of charge, we have never been asked to pay…until today. £1.60 is a little steep for a cup of hot water! When this was questioned, the response was a dismissive shrug of the shoulders.”
On another note, the coffee was good; the peanut butter brownie however, resembled stale bread crumbs!
This place is always buzzing when you visit. Well cooked, home cooked goodness throughout and serve a superb coffee to boot
