Mowgli was founded by Nisha Katona, who left her 20-year career as a barrister in 2014 to bring her family’s cherished recipes and a homely atmosphere to towns and cities across the UK. The first Mowgli opened in Liverpool, and since then, the brand has expanded, with the Brighton location opening in 2023.

Mowgli is not only about creating a welcoming environment but also about supporting local communities, offering jobs in a nourishing workplace, and giving back through charitable initiatives in each area.
