Twisted Lanes – Cocktail Bar and Restaurant

Brunch, dinner and splendid cocktails at the twisted little sister of Twisted Lemon and Twisted Lime. Forget queueing at the bar, Twisted Lanes is a more refined establishment, but with a twist of course!

Why You’ll Like Twisted Lanes:

The twisted little sister of ever popular Middle Street cocktail bars Twisted Lemon and Twisted Lime, Twisted Lanes offers quite a different vibe.

While the similarly impressive cocktail list still takes centre stage at this city-centre bar and restaurant, guests are comfortably seated rather than queuing at the bar, and food plays a much bigger role. Guests are welcome for drinks only but the menus are really too tempting to ignore.

The dark red exterior sets the tone as you enter into a moody space boasting polished concrete floors, stripped lighting, flickering candles and a striking wood-clad bar behind which a wall of spirit bottles is stacked perilously high.

There is plenty of comfortable seating on the ground floor and more upstairs plus four tables outside on the terrace; a prime spot for sunny alfresco drinks and dining. Every table is bookable, though walk-ins are welcome, and the upstairs room is available for private functions for up to 40 people. Contact the bar to discuss your requirements.

Cocktails Cocktails Cocktails

We’re really not sure that you’ll find anywhere in the city with a more comprehensive cocktail list. There are dozens and dozens of cocktails on the menu including pretty much all the classics, twists on classics and original concoctions too. The menu changes to reflect the seasons and if there is something you fancy that is not on the menu, the team will be happy to make – or even create – something special for you. With the ‘mad lab’ of spirits visible behind the bar, there really isn’t much they can’t try their hand at, though you could have some fun testing their limits!

Don’t miss the super-fresh mojito using local favourite Brighton Gin.

There is an impressive selection of around 60 mocktails on the menu and more can be made alcohol-free on request. There is also a nice collection of good wines on the menu if that’s what you’re in the mood for.

There are vegan and vegetarian dishes on the menu.

The food is great to eat, good quality and at a very attractive price point. Tick tick tick. And for just £24.95, you can order any 2 small plates, 1 side and 1 cocktail from the menu. That sounds like a great night out right there!

RB LOVES

Twisted Lanes has twisted and stretched the definition of happy hour to its limits. There are between 30 and 40 cocktails included in the offer and they each cost £7.95. Looks like we’re all happy now!
