A new opening in spring 2026, The Greenhouse Kitchen is a bright, spacious neighbourhood café bar in central Hove. The venue shifts naturally with the day, from a morning coffee in Hove and generous breakfasts to lunch, small plates, cocktails and drinks in the evening. There’s a relaxed, easy-going feel throughout, with a great soundtrack and a south-facing terrace that’s a real suntrap when the sun is out.
From big breakfasts to global small plates
Breakfast is all about proper coffee, big plates and stuffed croissant buns, with the Full Flakein, filled with smoky streaky bacon, fried egg, cheese and sausage, one to look out for.
Later, the residency kitchen Gatherin serves globally inspired small plates designed for sharing, or keeping all to yourself. Expect slow-cooked brisket pastry rolls, Korean crispy chicken and charred miso aubergine, alongside cocktails, wine and beers. There’s pistachio ice cream for something sweet to finish.
