VIP Pizza Brighton

A Brighton pizza institution with genuine Neapolitan roots, VIP Pizza Brighton has been delighting locals for years with wood-fired sourdough pizzas made from a family recipe over 150 years in the making.

If you love this style of pizza you will love these.

VIP Pizza Brighton, Very Italian Pizza

VIP Pizza Brighton is a go-to Brighton pizza destination for locals who know their stuff, and it has been for many years. Hugely popular with language students, particularly the Italian ones who recognise the real thing when they taste it, VIP Pizza Brighton is one of those places that quietly gets on with being excellent without making a great deal of noise about it.

Authenticity is something every restaurant claims these days, but very few can back it up quite like VIP Pizza Brighton can. The family behind the restaurant first established a shop in Naples back in 1845 and the business has remained in family hands through five generations ever since. With over 150 years of pizza-making experience behind them, there is very little VIP do not know about doing this properly.

VIP Pizza Brighton, Authentic Neapolitan Pizza

Neapolitan pizza is the most traditional style of pizza there is, built on sourdough bases and finished with simple, quality ingredients that are allowed to speak for themselves. When your family has been perfecting this craft since the nineteenth century, nobody is going to question whether you are doing it right.

What sets VIP Pizza Brighton apart from the many pizzerias vying for attention in the city is provenance on a truly remarkable scale. The family own their own farm in Naples, and many of the ingredients used in the restaurant are imported directly from it. In Italian cooking, the quality of the ingredients is everything, and when you are sourcing from your own land you have a level of traceability and integrity that simply cannot be manufactured.

Wood-Fired and Full of Choice

Every pizza at VIP Pizza Brighton is cooked in a wood-fired oven, producing that distinctive charred, blistered crust that is the hallmark of genuine Neapolitan pizza. The menu balances tradition with inclusivity, offering a generous range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options alongside the classics. This makes VIP Pizza Brighton a brilliant choice for mixed groups with varying dietary needs, and a particularly welcoming spot if you are looking for a child friendly Brighton restaurant that does not compromise on quality.

The restaurant itself is deceptively spacious, with a downstairs dining area that handles large groups with ease and takes the pressure off on busy evenings. VIP Pizza Brighton also doubles as a deli, stocking an exceptional range of Italian produce that is well worth browsing before you leave.

Eat in, Takeaway or Delivery

VIP Pizza Brighton offers real flexibility. Visit the restaurant for the full experience, click and collect via the website, or have your pizza delivered through Deliveroo. With a second location in Saltdean, there are two chances to experience what this remarkable family has been perfecting since 1845. Booking is recommended at peak times, and once you have visited, you may well find yourself rethinking what your favourite Brighton pizza really is.
