BRAVO award winners for
Good to Go 2023
Good to go Winners | Food to Takeaway
Whether it’s for a fancy night in or some time away from the hot stove, knowing where to get the best takeaway Brighton is a massive win. Brighton is blessed with an awesome choice of global cuisines, fast and slow food options. And the winner of the BRAVO for Good To Go goes to – Casazul. Huge congratulations to the team.
First place
Serving up authentic, homemade Mexican food, Casazul’s simple menu of tacos and loaded tortillas has won the hearts of the people of Brighton and the 1# BRAVO for Good to Go. Brightening a corner of the historic Brighton Open Market, dishes are served with spicy handmade sauces, pickles and herbs, resulting in the kind of flavour explosion we all love. Every dish has a vegan version and takeaway is served in reusable, returnable glassware, part of the cutting edge sustainability ethos that has won Casazul 2# BRAVO for Sustainable Eats too.
Second place
Never far from the top of this list, Lost Boys Chicken is the street food favourite that refuses to grow up. An elevated chicken shop, with seriously sexy sauces inspired by some of the best flavour combos from around the world and retro-tastic curly fries, this place will hit all your happy buttons at the same time. Naughty and nice in equal measure.
Third place
Bring the fiesta straight to your door with big, beautiful Mexican Carlito Burrito, Brighton’s very first Mexican-owned restaurant. Inspired by the dishes of the Mexican Pacific coast and secret family recipes, these super tasty street food classics pack a bold flavour punch. The tortillas, totopos and salsas are made on site with ingredients sourced from Mexico and Sussex. Carlito Burritos are welcome at the beginning, middle and end of the party but just as good enjoyed quietly and given the attention they deserve.
