Where to enjoy English wine in Brighton, Hove and Sussex
We’re blessed to be surrounded by some of the best vineyards in the UK, and English Wine Week (21 to 29 June) is the perfect time to celebrate the vast achievements of our local makers. The theme of this year’s campaign is ‘Making New Traditions’ – so let’s raise a glass to that. Cheers!
Let’s Celebrate Wine the English Way
No longer niche, you’ll find English wine on the menus of many top Brighton, Hove and Sussex restaurants. While Sussex sparkling remains the go-to, English still wines are growing rapidly in popularity. We spoke to The Secret Vineyard’s Helen Soudain about the rise of English still rosé. Next time you’re out, order something you haven’t tried before – it might just surprise you.
Local Restaurant Highlights

Curio x Westwell
Spend a sunny evening at Curio with the makers from Westwell on Monday, 23 June. This small, family-run estate produces some of the UK’s best low-intervention wines.
