  1. Rhys Trussler

While vegan doesn’t feature on the menu, Drakes were able to prepare an amazing three-course dinner for me. Everything about the experience at Drakes is wonderful, the food, the service, the ambience. It is the place to go for a memorable and truly special evening.

Drakes is a must if you’re looking for a romantic night out with your partner. My wife and I have been here a couple of times now and enjoy the pre dinner cocktails upstairs (really good cocktails). The setting downstairs is cosy and stylish. The food is fine dinning and the wines are a great match so we are never disappointed. The beef fillet for me is the best thing on the menu as it’s food to perfection. Not a cheap night but now and then it’s worth treating ourselves to a night without the kids!

  3. Caroline

The bar and restaurant at Drakes is a great place for a dinner date. It has a cosy, relaxed atmosphere and the raspberry souffle is to die for!

  4. Emma Clare

I was so excited to eat at Drakes and it didn’t disappoint! They take care of you so well, and it’s great having a sommelier on hand to wine match with your dishes. It’s definitely on the pricer end of the scale but perfect for a special occasion.

  5. Angela Simmonds

The Restaurant at Drakes is my go to place for a romantic dinner. You can have a cocktail before hand in the bar upstairs and then go downstairs for excellent food and grown-up service.

Drakes has been here for a long time now and for me, it always delivers.
