Best Afternoon Tea Brighton

A pleasure city seems a natural place to indulge in a luxurious afternoon tea, Brighton then, has plenty to choose from. But where is the best afternoon tea Brighton has to offer? And should it be classic or given a modern shake-up? There really is only one way to answer these pressing questions and you seemed willing to find out.

The Best Afternoon Tea Brighton category in the BRAVO 2019 awards is sponsored by Face Media Group. Well done to you all, may you have your cake and eat it.

1st place

When it came to selecting the Best Afternoon Tea Brighton you decided to have it all; Victorian splendour, a plush terrace with uninterrupted sea views and a menu by award-winning chef, Alan White. More than just a name you declared The Grand Hotel Afternoon Tea to be the Grandest Afternoon Tea in the land! (well, Brighton).

2nd place

The appeal of the roaring 20s and 30s got you all in a flap with afternoon tea at Metrodeco, Kemptown. With their signature blend teas and freshly made selection of fancies, the opportunity to act like a P. G. Woodhouse character amidst Art Deco designs and furniture was too good to miss. Tea at Metrodeco is a snapshot in time for the timeless afternoon ritual.

3rd place

From classic Victorian elegance to the buzz and revelry of the 20s and 30s, Terre a Terre’s entry at third place in the Best Afternoon Tea Brighton category came as a welcome leftfield move. You swapped little sandwiches for irresistibly moorish steamed bao and tiers of treats that bring the Terre a Terre ingenuity and creative spirit to the afternoon favourite.
