The roast at Ladies Mile is just like the pub itself – so hearty and crowd-pleasing you’ll keep coming back for more. Their traditional roast comes with a generous array of tasty sides like cauli-cheese, garlic roasties, homemade Yorkshire pudding, and signature gravy that ties everything together deliciously. Family-friendly to a fault, it’s a Sunday outing the kids will just love. Just make sure you leave a little space for pudding, sweetie!

At Alberta’s, “fast food needn’t be trash” – or really that fast either! You’ll want to spend the entire afternoon savouring the fabulous roast and relaxed vibe at The Windmill starting with some southern-style snacks. Serving Brighton’s only ‘whole fry’ (an entire fried chicken) and a host of other delicious mains, all roasts come with maple-glazed roots, tatties, yorkies, herby greens, and gravy. Too darn good! It’s Viennetta affogato and Sticky Toffee –  skip dessert and we’ll lose all respect for you!

FOURTH PLACE

Gothic glory The Farm Tavern specialises in Eastern European small plates, but its Sunday roast remains deliciously traditional – bar a few tasty twists like sliced kielbasa in your cauli-cheese. Choose your roast meat or flavour-packed veggie option, with all the trimmings and irresistible extras like piggies in blankets. Then it’s sticky toffee pudding or a slice of Polish baked apple cake to finish with vanilla, butterscotch cream – we’re sold! The Bloody Marys are legendary.

FIFTH place

Find one of the city’s most indulgent Sunday roasts inside one of its most iconic buildings. The roast at Cyan, The Grand’s resident restaurant, is exactly what you’d expect – excellent, generous and fittingly luxurious. Choose from meat, fish or vegetarian options accompanied by every side under the sun. Round things off with seriously decadent desserts while gazing at the epic views. This is definitely one to take your time over.

Their sharing Sunday roast platter is a real highlight—perfect for groups who want to indulge together.

NINTH place

The Sunday roast at The Coal Shed in Brighton is a must for meat lovers and roast enthusiasts alike.
