First place - Brighton's Best Cocktail

Blossoms Bar claims the cocktail crown in 2025 with its thrillingly fresh, Japanese-inspired drinks list. Tucked away in secluded Brighton Square at the heart of Brighton’s Lanes, Blossom’s is a vibey, stylish spot festooned with flowers and contemporary Japanese art. Their Brighton cocktail menu elevates classics with tantalising Asian flavours, bringing a unique experience to the local scene. Taking inspiration from Tokyo’s izakayas, Blossom’s also serves tempting sharing plates to complement your cocktails. And the tunes ain’t half bad either!

Last year’s winner of Brighton’s Best Cocktail, Dishoom Permit Room, stays close to the top with its spice-infused highballs, twisted classics, short and boozy tumblers, and cheeky, frozen lipsters. From its historic home in The Lanes, Dishoom has rapidly become a wildly popular destination thanks to its famously delicious Indian food menu and Bombay-inspired drinks list. The luxe, exotic styling adds an extra dimension, while the almost-secret roof terrace remains one of Brighton’s coolest alfresco cocktail spots.

Everything here is honey-inspired, from the creative small plates to the carefully crafted drinks, with expert bartenders Alistair and Noemi at the helm. Tucked away in the heart of the neighbourhood, it’s already gained a loyal following for its refined twists on classics, seasonal specials, and the occasional playful surprise. FIFTH place

Landing firmly in 5th place for Best Cocktails in Brighton, Bonsai Plant Kitchen brings bold, Asian-inspired flair to every glass. Known for championing plant-based creativity, their cocktail list is as vibrant as their menu. Blossoms is voted best cocktail bar in Brighton according to the 2025 BRAVO (Brighton Restaurant Awards Vote Online) where 72,911 public votes were cast.

Brighton is famous for its nightlife and is considered a mini London by the sea with plenty of award winning cocktail bars and over 340 Brighton and Hove pubs. OhSo, Bohemia and Burnt Orange have DJs on specified evenings. MeatLiquor, Shelter Hall, Coppa Club and Bar Valentino come recommended. Curio in Preston Circus is brand new and is well worth the visit. The Cauldron in Clarence Gardens serves up magic (literally) in a glass…what’s not to like?
