Koba is now closed permanently
Fear not. Brighton and Hove are rich in great places for cocktails and we have made it our mission to make it easy for you to find them all.
Why not try this instead?
Koba Brighton, a hidden treasure
Koba Brighton is tucked away as a pleasant little surprise for the reveller whose pursuits lead them from Brighton to Hove or vice versa. Situated on Western Road past the main shopping strips on either side, Koba is easy to miss unless you find yourself heading to Waitrose and change your mind.
Koba Brighton – Mixologists of Botanical Cocktails
Koba Brighton serves up botanical cocktails, made with finest spirits, fresh fruit juices and herbs for fresh and vibrantly infused flavoursome cocktails. Their menu ranges from the classic margarita to weekly specials, such as the Pegroni (a Negroni with a Peroni top), to keep you coming back for more. In addition to cocktails they serve a selection of craft and drought beers and a good range of hand picked wines, all reasonably priced despite the more exclusive feel of the place itself.
A host of Brighton favourites
If you’re after something a little softer Koba now also serve a range of refreshments from local suppliers. With tea from Bluebird tea rooms, coffee from Pharmacie Coffee Roasters and cakes from Flour Pot Bakery, it’s is an ideal spot to escape the busy high street.
Private hire at Koba Brighton
Set over two floors Koba Brighton is available for hire. Be it a small meeting, a VIP area with your own private bar tender, or taking over the whole venue until the early hours Koba are willing to cater for your needs. Once it’s yours you can decorate, play your favourite play lists and even arrange reception cocktails to greet your guests. The VIP area can hold 60 guests whist the whole venue takes 110, great for large personal parties, receptions or even a product launch! If you’d like to add canapés to your event, Koba work in partnership with Egg and Spoon and Yolk caterers, who can both discuss your individual needs and bring your order direct to the venue. With a 2am drinking license you can keep your party rolling, and if you still want more after that you’re well situated in the heart of the city

The home of the Brighton cocktail trend as far as I’m concerned as it used to be the venue to go to for mouthwatering tastey drinks. Not been for a while but very happy to give it 5 out of 5 for all the great nights I’ve had there.
